Real madrid president Florentino Perez has made contact with Kylian Mbappe's family.

The AS Monaco striker is Perez's prime target for the summer market and the president has spoken with family members about a move to Madrid.

Telefoot says Perez recently met with members of Mbappe's family to discuss the situation, though claims of coach Zinedine Zidane also being involved were wide of the mark.

Perez has been stepping up his pursuit of Mbappe after his re-election was confirmed last week.
