Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is eyeing Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
The Evening Chronicle says Benitez has been using his contacts in Spain to help lure players from Spain to England.
And Real's Casilla is on his radar, with the goalkeeper struggling for game time at the Bernabeu.
The 30-year-old has made just 26 appearances since returning to the club from Espanyol in 2015.
With Keylor Navas currently the club's No1, and Real continuing to be linked with a move for Manchester United's David De Gea, Casilla's chances of securing regular first-team football appear slam.
